The 1926 Foundation, Incorporated, was established in 2009 exclusively for educational and charitable purposes.  The Foundation was incorporated as a nonprofit entity in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and classified by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) organization designated as a public charity in 2011.

The mission of The 1926 Foundation, Incorporated is to expand access to educational opportunity and community support in the Philadelphia region. The 1926 Foundation is dedicated to empowering individuals from all walks of life to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to their communities. We provide scholarship assistance to high school seniors and college students who are pursuing higher education, while also investing in local community organizations whose work aligns with our commitment to service, equity, and uplift.
