Welcome to the website of The 1926 Foundation, Inc. We are truly excited as we look forward to a continued tradition of serving the Philadelphia.
Celebrating 10 years of service, The 1926 Foundation, Inc. was formed in 2011 and is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization established to support community-based organizations providing programs and services to individuals and families throughout the Philadelphia region. The Foundation raises funds to support those organizations whose missions address the services needed in the community as well as national and international service needs that align with our commitment to helping people from all walks of life. We also provide scholarship assistance to high school students who plan to attend college or high school graduates already enrolled in college. During the past 10 years, the Foundation has continued to grow and expand upon our commitment. We have provided over $300,000 in community support and $200,000 in college scholarships.
The 1926 Foundation Inc. wishes to acknowledge the support of the Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated with whom we have worked to achieve our shared goals. The 1926 Foundation, Inc. remains committed to supporting the community at large through our ongoing outreach and financial support.
We have accomplished a lot over the past ten years, but we still have more to do. Our enthusiasm is there and I know that we will succeed.
